MARELLA @ SS2014 Collection

MARELLA SS2014 collection after seasons of fluorescent and strong hues, find a new identity and a renewed energy in pastel and candy tones. Candy pink and mint are so delicate and sweet, but also so intense to create graphic patterns mixed with black, white and yellow. Geometric designs on the boxy blouse or the tunic-dress in cotton poplin, all revamped by a new generation color-block.

And if not checks, colorful stripes give appeal to the slim pants or shorts to match the T-shirt. The concept of fluidity is the essence of the tops and dresses, never exceeding into oversize, comfort is a priority, but the style is effortless, summery.

The holiday mood is the starting point of MARELLA, giving lightness to the more formal garments, such as the boxy jacket in striped cotton or the fleece one with trimmings or the pant-suit in pyton printed jacquard, a very polished idea of animal-print. So many dresses, true must-haves of the season, mixing simple patterns, going monochrome, all clean-cut or with fitted waists and full skirt just like in the Fifties.

And the alternatives are many, even with lace, transparency, asymmetry and jersey mesh in black and white. Chambray fabric is dedicated to a series of easy-to-wear garments such as soft pants, tunic or dress with gems-embroideries. In addition to the candy colors, oxford blue and denim, a summer classic is back: white. And the traditional fabrics, cotton and linen are involved in an interesting research: raw, sheer, embroidered and iridescent. 2014 white is like that.

The New MARELLA bag comes in fuchsia, turquoise and pure white, a range of fun, summery and positive hues, blend with a mix of textures: python, ostrich and crocodile for a contemporary patchwork effect. This season new mini-sized bag available with the same shape and functionality: the practical shoulder strap is adjustable and the bag turns into a handbag.
