Not really to what we all were expected. Having the previous legendary actresses' appearance more like a cameo role, that wasn't enough, the audience want more for sure. Great try though. A bit of a disappointment from Marshall since his well received <Chicago> film.
It is fun and great action and good CG. Robert Downey Jr. does have a sense of humor in him beside playing some "not so serious" roles in his previous film. His chemistry with Jude Law does add lots of live in the movie. Not a bad Christmas's past time for this year.
The Master of 3D James Cameron brought us in to another world of "blue" immagination (his real world perhaps) to witness the impossible in life. Many fantastic original charactors created and the visual effect that drawn many followers to copy his style of filming in a low budget way awhich wasn't really so well worth to watch. But Avatar the sequal(s)- for sure we are waiting.
This adaptation science fiction thriller pack takes you to a journey of the love relation in between a father and his son. Viggo Mortensen outstanding performance in this film were simply too good, you may find a little depress throughout the entire film as it was very gray and you may feel isolated. Nonetheless, it is one of the must see film of the year.
A triumphant for Ford's debut film by not forgetting his fashion roots bringing out the best in him onto his film direction. Another great find was Nicholas Hoult, this grown up boy from <About A Boy> is now a big hung and one of the brightest star in line. Moore and Firth's combination sparks wow the film. Highly recommended even you are not the die hard fans for Ford. It is a real classic to keep and a movie to talk about at least for the next 10 years.
Can't quite say it is another breakthrough for Swank since <Mllion Dollar Baby> & <Boys Don't Cry> but the role was well crafted where Gere was just another big supporting in this film. At least, there was a Heroin for us to remember and took us across the ocean.
Up Up & Away, a truly two thumbs up film of the year. A well directed film that was full of love, hope and sentimental values. A must see movie together with your family, kids and friends. The laughter and the emotion just simply takes you through your life for having what your got now is blessed.
Quite a nice surprise for the way of making it , need no hand help but still camera are even more scarier than moving around. The last act was pretty terrifying and it could make you sweat. At least a new "genre" is born.
Two Tumbs up to Kathryn Bigelow for making such a heroic and masculine film since <K-19>. An absolute thrilling pack with lots of sentimental & touching emotions. Best picture of the year? you have our vote for it.
This movie has what it takes by taking the audience to follow and find out what actually happened to them after the hangover. Quite an innovative ways of telling story in which there wasn't much of the dull comedy but adding more sense to the film. A new comedian is created as Zach Galifianakis really played well on his role as Alan, he stands out in the entire film,It has been a while a good comedy like this attracts many to go back to the cinema.
Entering the fantasy world of Jean-Piere Jeunet since <Amelie>, interesting charactors played and endless gags found in the movie for the smarter you who has the better bitter-sweet kind of sense of humor.
