THOMAS PINK Tiffin Afternoon Tea @ The Langham Palm Court Hong Kong

On 10 June, 1865, the first serving of Afternoon Tea took place at The Langham, London. Each year Langham hotels hold a 1865 anniversary Afternoon Tea where tea is served for same price it was in 1865. This year, The Langham Hong Kong  Palm Court partnered with Thomas Pink and bring this special occasion to live, while you indulge in a luxurious three tiered afternoon tea together with a mini Thomas Pink's fashion show.
Since the opening of Europe's first "Grand Hotel in London in 1865, Langham has been at the forefront of innovative hospitality. When opening on 10th June, the magnificent Langham Hotel was the first in the world to offer hydraulically-operated lifts, modern plumbing systems, and hot and cold running water in all guest rooms, making The Langham London a ground-breaking establishment and highly sought after destination.
For over 148 years, Langham has been redefining hospitality by continuously generating fresh ideas and modern innovations. It is this continued effort that has elevated the group to new levels of service excellence and industry best practices. Langham Hospitality Group developed the internal "Think Pink" initiative as a way to facilitate and promote innovation, to ultimately capture our guests through new service and product concepts, and with new and improved signatures of hospitality.
The practice of enjoying tea in the afternoon began with the Duchess of Bedford (1788-1861) and evolved into a social event. Afternoon tea has been served at The Langham London since 1865. To celebrate Langham's long story of serving of serving afternoon tea, our hotel lobby will be transformed into an enchanting wonderland in a magical Mad Hatter's tea party theme with lavish decorations.
