KIRIN ICHIBAN @ The World's First Frozen Beer

KIRIN ICHIBAN’s new Frozen Beer implements a “100% Malt” formula, a First Press brewing process and features the world’s first frozen beer foam, keeping beer ice cold for up to 30 minutes. The innovative KIRIN ICHIBAN Frozen Beer, which was a phenomenal success when it first launched in Japan, has finally arrived in Hong Kong. Thanks to a ground-breaking patented Frozen Agitation process, ICHIBAN beer is transformed into foam and frozen at -5 degrees Celsius. Afterwards, it is topped onto beer just like soft-serve ice foam. In addition to a creamier taste and texture, the frozen beer foam also keeps your drink ice-cold for around 30 minutes.
As much as you’d like to take your time when enjoying a delicious glass of draft beer, it can go flat at room temperature in a short period and now your entire beer can stay ice-cold for up to 30 minutes.  ICHIBAN beer is frozen to -5 degrees Celsius while air is continuously blown into it through a blast freezer. The result is a frozen foam topping that can placed on top of the beer, acting as a lid to keep it ice-cold. Now beer lovers can relax and enjoy the taste of an ice-cold beer for a much longer period of time. This frozen draft was well received during tests in the USA, Shanghai and Singapore, and the ground-breaking patented Frozen Agitation process even won the 17th Momofuku Ando Award in 2012.
