JIMMY CHOO gets an exclusive look at Emma Roberts' photo diary styling in AW2014 collection and talks on fashion, music and travel. With style icons ranging from Jane Birkin to Stevie Nicks and Cate Blanchett, Roberts has an eclectic and skilled approach to putting her looks together. The exclusive interview and photo diary including some of her favourite styles from the Jimmy Choo AW2014 collection.

What is your favourite shoe from the AW14 collection?
My favorite shoe is the Marlin black ankle boot with the snakeskin on the top and buckles! Boots are my favorite fashion staple, and these Jimmy Choo’s are a nice twist on the typical black.

What’s your signature look for a night out with friends?
I adore a great slip dress with a vintage T and boots and a great cross body purse so I don't have to worry about losing it! Recently I bought a brown suede fringed bag that I'm obsessed with.

What’s your red carpet style?
I love mixing it up on the red carpet. Sometimes I love to do long and other times I feel most confident in short. The red carpet is a great time to try out things you wouldn't in real life, which makes it really fun. My Golden Globe dress last year is a perfect example. I don't usually do big accessories, but I opted for these epic blue chandelier earrings with slicked back hair.

What’s your off duty look?
I'm a jeans and T kind of girl. I am crazy about jeans and it makes me so happy to find the perfect pair. I enjoy hunting for vintage Guess and Levi's. When I'm hanging with my friends, I pretty much live in my Rag and Bone black skinnys.

What are your upcoming projects?
I'm filming a movie called Ashby right now in North Carolina with Mickey Rourke , Nat Wolff and Sarah Silverman. I am so excited to meet Sarah! I'm a huge fan of hers. I play Nat's love interest in the movie named Eloise. She's a great character because she's quirky and different than any other girl I've played. She's obsessed with people's brains and has an MRI machine in her basement! When I finish that I move onto season 4 of American Horror Story, and I couldn't be more excited, and nervous! I don't know much about my character but I do know I'm NOT the bearded lady.

Who are your style icons?
My style icons range from Jane Birkin to Cate Blanchett. I'm also in love with the ‘60s and ‘70s so I'm always looking for outfit inspiration on Pinterest and buying stuff off Etsy! I love that the ‘90s are coming back because it makes me nostalgic of my childhood. I was a huge Spice Girls fan and just bought platform sneakers in honor of them!

Flats or heels?
I used to be an all heels all the time girl because I was self-conscious about being 5'2.” Now I embrace it and pretty much live in boots and flats and high tops.

Who would your fantasy travel companions be?
My fantasy travel companion would be Alan Watts. I just started reading his books, and they are changing my life! Would love to have a conversation with him. His view of the world is fascinating.

What are your plans for the summer?
My plans for the summer are to finish Ashby and start American Horror Story. I also hope to take a few weekend trips. My dream road trip with my girlfriends is to Marfa and Nashville!
If you had to listen to three songs for the rest of your life what would they be?
Three songs would be Brooklyn Baby by Lana Del Ray, Youth by Foxes, The Way We Touch by We Are Twin.

What are your packing tips?
I am the biggest over-packer, so I'm not one to ask for packing tips! I would say always bring lots of reading material and a pair of comfy shoes! I hate being the person that’s limping behind in killer high heels! Bring a great wedge or a pretty sandal.

What are your long haul travel essentials?
My long haul travel essentials are my TemperPedic Cloud pillow. I am always working and traveling so sleep is so important to me.

If you weren’t an actress what would you be?
If I weren't an actress I would want to work at a magazine. I adore fashion, and I love magazines. I read probably 25 a month!

If you were a shoe which shoe would you be?
If I were a shoe, I would be a classic Jimmy Choo pointed toe pump. I remember being younger and seeing that shoe on women and thinking how I couldn't wait to get older and get my hands on a pair! Now I have a pair in red snakeskin with my initials embossed on them! The young me is jumping up and down over this!

What has been your biggest fashion regret?
I think it's hard to pick a fashion regret because you never know at the time that you'll be regretting it! Trends are what make fashion fun, so I say go with them and laugh at the pictures later! I'm sure when I'm older my kids are gonna be laughing their butts off that we all were rocking the crop top!

If you could be in someone else’s shoes for a day whoswhose would it be?
If I could be in someone else's shoes for a day, it would be Stevie Nicks. I worship her style and her music. She's also one of the nicest celebrities I've met. She also has amazing shoes :)

What would your super power be?
My super power would be to time travel. I would go back to the ‘60s and stay there!

If you could live in another decade when would it be?
If I could live in any decade I would want to be the age I am now (23) in 1991 (the year I was born). It seemed like such a cool time because we had technology but not as much as there is now. People weren’t consumed by it! I also love the movies around that time and the fashion. Slip dresses and chokers!
