Bonpoint FW2014 Hong Kong Presentation

Bonpoint FW2014/15 collection consists of four different themes, the <AMISH GRUNGE> is a soft, gentle wardrobe, caught between tradition and modernity, inspired by the Amish culture. The tender vanilla shades contrast with faded blacks and an intense blue. Touches of acid yellow invigorate a slightly austere silhouette. Winter knits take pride of place and the Bonpoint icons are redesigned. Wool etamine and habutai silk dresses are perfect for handcrafted embroidery and smocking. Embroidered multi-colour flowers on vanilla, checks and big polka dots change the pace. Little girls will long for the patent leather clogs worn with tights or chunky socks.

<PUNK> is a rebellious and carefree punk look with a nod to the 1980s! Black is matched with green, khaki or fern, with terracotta red or cream. Daring leather is decidedly rock. Skinny jeans are lacquered, printed or dyed while little school dresses with white collars play tough with biker boots. Tar tans, black and white graphic polka dots, hounds tooth on printed velvet or woollen jersey, all give structure to the look. Girls choose a biker jacket in studded leather or black tweed with a baseball jacket collar, or a khaki loden. It’s all about dressing with a hint of schoolgirl rebel.

<SCHOOL GIRL> Preppy codes are revisited with a retro touch of faux good behaviour. A melange of fabrics, block coloured cloths, tar tans, floral prints and tingling Liber ty prints. Raw green and poppy awaken navy blue and caramel. A touch of fun comes with the trompe-l’oeil ties and knotted scarves over sweaters. Miniskir ts are worn straight in suede, pleated in navy or as kilts. The tar tan trench coat makes its come-back. A Star t-rite for Bonpoint shoe in racing green patent leather completes a resolutely chic and iconic wardrobe.

<PINK 50’S> The 1950s are invited into a rich, velvety and slightly old school boudoir for a romantic look with tender and zesty colours. Greys light up alongside candy pink and raspberry. Liquorices are softened with powder pinks. Beiges and winter whites sketch a desire for sweetness. Merino and angora sweaters and cashmere wool cardigans are embroidered with a hint of sparkle. The over-dyed romantic Liberty prints blow a poetic breeze. We dare to don a woollen cap or studded cloche hat with a raspberry check coat or a zip-up jacket in grey boiled wool. Little etamine wool dresses shimmer with silver polka dots. Grey flannel dresses have been revamped with studs. Girls sport sparkling silver loafers or Dr. Mar tens for Bonpoint in a grey patent leather.
