The Mexican fashion industry revolution, sponsored by ProMéxico, kicked off in 2015 and Hong Kong is the fourth stop of this fashionable world tour exhibition featuring 16 of Mexico's well-known local designer brands, including men's and women's apparel, shoes, handbag accessories and fashion jewelry, showcasing to the world. The fashion tour is held as a Pop Up Store located in Central from 14th November to 8th December for 25 days and provides feel and touch of Mexico’s fashion to fashion addicts.
Mr. Damian Martinez Taguena, The Mexican General Consul, and Mr. Alejandro Garcia Casas, The Mexican Trade Commissioner in Hong Kong have actively been supporting the event to promote the Mexican’s style to the world.
Mexico Fashion Design aims to begin exporting the designers’ products here in Hong Kong on a long term basis by properly following through with the business relationships created and capitalizing on them. With a unique DNA of each designer, this is a golden opportunity to give Mexican fashion designers visibility and notoriety with both the specialized and general public.
