CLUB MONACO opens a Men’s Shop in Fashion Walk, Causeway Bay recently marks the brand's second freestanding men’s shop in Hong Kong. Planted at the corner of Paterson Street and Kingston Street, the design of this new shop, like all Club Monaco stores, is intrinsic to the neighborhood to which resides.
Guided by the insurgence of sportswear, the shop is inspired by a vintage gymnasium and locker room for a low-key masculine vibe. White decorative tiles line the walls with panels dividing the space to create a modern, spacious interior. Black and white mosaic flooring gives a nod to historical European paintings that are deliberately selected for the space. Vintage pieces like opulent round Industrial tables from France and long wooden table from Sweden were flown in from around the world.
The focal point of the design is a retro hanging light fixture that complements the space. The shop will also pepper in vintage product with books, art, and photography to reinforce the Club Monaco lifestyle.
The store features the brands Makers & Muse partners - Maker & Muse is a series of collaborative efforts that began with a simple idea to bring all of our favorite things from around the world into Club Monaco stores. This new men’s store features Makers including small leather goods from Vianel NYC, tastefully designed rucksacks from Cote et Ciel Paris, and leather sandals from Dan Ward Italy.
“This shop will have the “best of the best” assortment of Club Monaco active wear,as well as brands such as Reigning Champ and Wings & Horns out of Vancouver, Canada and Zespa shoes from the south of France, added Aaron Levine, vp of men’s designs. “Club Monaco continues to expand across Asiawith freestanding men’s shops now in both Hong Kong and Korea, said John Mehas, chief executive officer at Club Monaco. “Like all Club Monaco stores the Fashion Walk men’s shop is unique, bridging fashion and culture through an innovative store concept and experience.”
