It is the sanctuary of senses. It is the way things should be.
It is never about just getting away and it is never just the place.
It is never just the journey.
It is to experience the difference.
It is the little thing that makes the difference.
There are many good luxury design hotels and up market international hotels to choose from while travelling to Bangkok, with the only 5-star all-suite hotel combining spacious accommodation in one of the tallest buildings in the city, mylifestylenews checks in to Banyan Tree Bangkok’s newly renovated Serenity Club floor room for a weekend staycation.
When you are to choose any of the Banyan Tree hotels, there are some elements and factors from the brand itself that are to be expected. From the sanctuary of the senses to the destination that is never about just getting away, it is never just the journey but the place to be to experience the difference as it is the little things that somehow make the difference, as it is the way things should be.Thanks to their unforgettable advertising campaign that offer such inspiration and enriching and perhaps rewarding experiences in every way.
With its 61-storey high vertical building located in South Sathon and Silom area, Banyan Tree Bangkok is a stand out in the neighborhood. This urban resort design inspiration features a range of all-suite rooms laid out to reflect the essence of Thai heritage.
The spacious hotel lobby
After our long check-in on the Club Floor and we wonder what caused the delay without much information given, we were escorted to our newly refurbished Serenity Club room on the 58th floor.
Beside the bathroom that had been given a facelift with new amenities, the expansive room’s mood and ambience still lacking the Banyan Tree’s elements but offering a much more contemporary touch on its design and decor. Ornate lotus motifs are blended with modern interiors to reflect the quality of serenity and wake up to a stunning city view of Bangkok on the sky up high staycation experience.
The view had us speechless by looking at the City’s infamous Lumpini Park with the almost floor to ceiling window with more than sufficient natural lights. The Serenity Club room includes a daily breakfast for two, a 4 course set dinner with wine pairing at Vertigo followed by post-dinner drinks at Vertigo TOO and a 30% discount offer for the hotel’s Gallery purchases, except consignment items, books and CDs with a rewarding experience in every possible way.
The swimming pool is located on the 21st floor of the hotel
We headed down to the swimming pool bypassing the Spa and gym, with the outdoor pool shimmering beneath the sky with sufficient outdoor deck on the 21st floor. Feel the hum of peace whisper through your very beings as you enjoy the unparalleled skyline vistas, with the pool fringed by green plants to create an oasis in the concrete jungle with the sensation of swimming within the tropics.
Sunset cocktail hours and dinner at the Vertigo & Moon Bar is another must-do while staying in Banyan Tree Bangkok
The Vertigo TOO is worth checking out after dinner
The eclectic Vertigo TOO is where Art Nouveau is a way of life, a unique atmosphere instilled with the romance of Art Nouveau with fascinating design and decorative objects.
High ceiling creates a spacious and elegance decor
Eclectic design and decor at this chic and contemporary bar
Live Music performance at Vertigo TOO bar
The arched ceiling of this indoor bar is covered in a canopy of lights, mimicking a starry night. Lush loungers offers you a lazy stretch out against the big widows overlooking the stunning views of the city with live music performances in this sublime bar, which further add captivation to your senses for an unprecedented night out and to end the evening, followed by a hearty breakfast the next morning.
You can chose to stay at your accessible club lounge on head down to the Romsai all day dining restaurant overlooking the serene waterfall and fish pond through the ceiling high glass windows.
