LANVIN Men's Summer 2015 Pre-Collection

LANVIN Men's Summer 2015 Pre Collection presents by Lucas Ossendrijver is an offering of pieces reinterpreted from the catwalk shows, while never losing sight of the realities of the menswear market. Lanvin's vocabulary is imbued with modicums of originality, creativity through the materials selected and modernity in its cut for the man concerned with comfort and details.

Suits are constructed from fine, airy materials. They feature soft, fluid and light lines which follow body contours to better fit the wearer. The Lanvin menswear designer knows the register of the male suit inside out. Reinforced by the techniques and expertise of the bespoke department in existence since 1926, Lanvin offers a range of comfortable yet stylish suits. In solid blue, white or black, they are perfect for a summer weekend by the sea or in the city. Jackets play the urban card with a sport-inspired twist, because the Lanvin Man has increasingly nomadic, multi-referential desires. Although casual from start to finish, these jackets do not neglect elegance and luxury. In twill and fluid satin, grey-green python or cashmere-soft suede in mouse grey, these garments evoke a serene style and a timeless essence in grey, sky blue or navy blue.

Another offering is the traditional plaid material reinterpreted on two suits. This classically inspired pattern is worked in modern cuts: short, rounded jacket flaps, belted waists, sharp cut or contrasting coral cuffs. Shoulders have a natural fit with the armhole allowing freedom of movement. This harmony is a hallmark of Lanvin excellence. The Prince of Wales material, now somewhat obsolete, makes a strong comeback with a quilted trench coat and tapered trousers. A virtuous and solid classic that will not hesitate to flirt happily with a soft-coloured shirt, intended to stamp one's personality or quite simply for a highly elegant summer adventure.
