This semi musical film was very well executed in term of bring the living live Paris as it backdrop for everyone to fall in love with. The nostalgic romance from the 60's to the modern day of Paris were captured and being executed well through it well written screen play, plus a little of black humor. Some well written lines and blissful music flaunt out the simultaneously, credit are surely given to screen play writer/Director Christophe Honoré captivating the French's essence. You may have to be French or at least to have a couple of French friends to understand the French humor, be it stupid or silly or not, They are French. Still don't get it, perhaps it is time to find yourself a French lover.
