BURBERRY Live Music Performances @ Campaign Cast to Celebrate Eyewear Collection

BURBERRY hosted four live performances in four cities by four British bands to celebrate the Burberry Eyewear Summer 2012 campaign. The four acts, curated for the eyewear ad campaign by Burberry Chief Creative Officer Christopher Bailey, include One Night Only, The Daydream Club, Marika Hackman and Life in Film. Each act headlined events in Burberry stores in Paris, Milan, New York and Sydney on the nights of 3 and 4 May. The events marked the first-ever performances in Milan, New York and Sydney for The Daydream Club, Marika Hackman and Life in Film respectively, continuing the brand’s association with promoting upcoming British talent globally. As part of the campaign, all acts recorded tracks exclusively for Burberry, with accompanying music videos filmed on set in London and revealed through Burberry platforms.
 Two of these tracks was released as singles; ‘Long Time Coming’ by One Night Only (released 3 May), available via iTunes and ‘Neon Love Song (Part II)’ by The Daydream Club, released globally via iTunes from 28 May 2012. The campaign highlights a collection of timeless unisex, men’s and women’s aviator styles inspired by the spirit, attitude and energy of Burberry, music and the British summer.The bands’ journeys in the four cities have been documented and will be released as part of exclusive content through Burberry platforms, including a tailored experience on burberry.com and via social media.
