OMEGA Dubai Ladies Classic 2017


OMEGA - the title sponsor for the ninth consecutive year of OMEGA Dubai Ladies Classic golf tournament held under the patronage of HH Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein, wife of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The OMEGA Dubai Ladies Classic is the only full Ladies European Tour (LET) event ever to be played in the Middle East and had kicked off recently at the Emirates Golf Club in Dubai.

The winner of this year’s tournament went to Angel Yin and took home a winner’s cheque along with an OMEGA Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M. Yin played excellently throughout the competition and ended with a final score of 15 under-par, a winning margin of 2 shots. Along with her prize money and trophy, Angel Yin was awarded with an OMEGA Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M.


The stunning 38 mm timepiece features an 18K Sedna™ gold case with a glittering diamond-paved bezel, taupe-brown leather strap and a revolutionary Master Chronometer calibre on the inside.


Any competing golfer who scores a hole in one will receive the same watch in a 34 mm version. Finishing her year with a fantastic victory in a thrilling playoff, Angel Yin has won the 2017 OMEGA Dubai Ladies Classic, final stop of the year on the Ladies European Tour.


 The tournament was played on one of the city’s renowned course - The Majlis – and was held under the patronage of HRH Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein, wife of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

OMEGA has been the title sponsor of the Dubai Ladies Classic since 2009. For nine years running, the brand has witnessed a wonderful display of female golf. Hosted by the Emirates Golf Club, it is always a highlight to see play at The Majlis – which was named among the world's top 100 golf courses in a survey conducted by influential US-based magazine Golf Digest.
