Giorgio Armani has brought his signature style to the character of Jesse, played by Elle Fanning, in director Nicolas Winding Refn’s much-anticipated thriller Amazon Studio’s “The Neon Demon.” For the production, Giorgio Armani worked in partnership with acclaimed costume designer Erin Benach, who is known for her work in Refn’s Oscar nominated film “Drive,” for which she received a Costume Designers Guild Awards Nomination. As the doe-eyed aspiring model Jesse, “The Neon Demon” star Elle Fanning wears an Emporio Armani metallic blue strapless top with a matching skirt in the opening scene of the film. In addition to Jesse’s aforementioned look, Giorgio Armani has outfits featured throughout the film, including two looks in Jesse’s first fashion show scene.
“Armani has been a wonderful collaborator on this film as well as others. They helped bring our vision of a high fashion world to life," said costume designer, Erin Benach. “I was lucky to have access to such a unique collection of beautiful pieces that helped elevate the look of the film.” Amazon Studio’s “The Neon Demon” was directed by Nicolas Winding Refn and is being co-distributed by Amazon Studios and Broad Green Pictures. The film was released in the United States this week and is being released globally in the coming days.
