Audemars Piguet Congratulates LeBron James @ His 4th Most Valuable Player Award

Audemars Piguet Ambassador LeBron James was awarded, for the fourth time in five years and for the second time in a row, with the coveted Most Valuable Player (MVP) title for the 2012-13 regular basketball season. Undoubtedly considered one of the greatest players of all time, he is the fifth player to have won the trophy four times or more in the history of professional basketball. LeBron James averaged an impressive 26.8 points, 8 rebounds and 7.3 assists per game during the 2012-13 regular season. He also became the youngest player to score 8 seasons with 2’000 points and therefore the youngest player to reach a striking number of 20’000 points.  The MVP is awarded by a panel of 121 voters of sportswriters and broadcasters throughout the United States and Canada, including one collective fan vote. LeBron clearly came out on top of the ranking, in recognition of his powerful, intelligent and unclassifiable game. He totaled 1,207 points, including 120 first-place votes. LeBron James has been an Audemars Piguet Ambassador for over two years. A sportsman who perfectly embodies the brand’s philosophy “to break the rules, you must first master them”, LeBron’s passion for the game drives him to constantly reinvent and raise the bar for himself.
