Pomellato by Mondino @ Light And Color For A Pop Art Swinton

Pomellato by Mondino @ Light And Color For A Pop Art Swinton new campaign, Jean-Baptise Mondino worked his magic on Tilda Swinton, portrayed in the manner of painters through veils of colored lights. Mondino chosen by the bran is an out-of-the-ordinary character who has en eclectic career. Moving smoothly from art direction to photography to film direction, Mondino has created memorable campaigns for French fashion divas and a large number of video clips for international female rock stars.

For him, Swinton - Pomellato's muse became a blank canvas on which Modino patiently and skilfully used light and colored filters to highlight her enigmatic face and enhance the splendour of the jewels. The photos interpet the style of this great master, bringing to mind Pop Art and some Andy Warhol's works. These portraits of Swinton reveal the perfect feeling between Pomellato and Mondino, born out of a shared vocation for creating marvels, modeling light and color.
