The All-new BMW M6 Coupé Arrives in Hong Kong

BMW Concessionaires (HK) Ltd. launched the all-new BMW M6 Coupé in its Wan Chai Showroom recently. Being the new, exclusive range-topper developed by BMW M GmbH, BMW M6 Coupé is once again an exceptional high-performance automobile occupying a unique position in premium segment. Its high-revving V8 engine with M Twin Power Turbo technology delivers 560hp and 680Nm at 1,500-5,750rpm, enabling BMW M6 Coupé to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 4.2 seconds. Thanks to BMW EfficientDynamics technology such as Auto Start/Stop and Brake-energy Regeneration, the all-new BMW M6 Coupé can achieve an incredible fuel consumption of just 9.9 litres per 100 kilometres, which is 30% less than it previous generation.
This impressive powerdelivery, exceptional low fuel consumption, blend of outstanding dynamics and hallmark M conceptual harmony have all help to crown BMW M6 Coupé the most outstanding model in its class. Its seven-speed M double clutch transmission Drivelogic provides agility, concerning stability, and driving enjoyment; while Dynamic Damper control allows driver to choose between the COMFORT, SPORT, and SPORT+ settings, which provides the best responses for every single driving situation at drivers’ wish.

The new BMW M6 Coupé leaves no doubt as to its high-performance characteristics. This is ensured by conspicuous M-Specific design features: Large air inlets to cool the powerful engine, flared wheel arches resulting from a 30mm increase in width, aerodynamically optimized side sills and M exterior mirrors, and an expressive rear with M-specific dual tailpipes. Equally striking are the redesigned BMW M kidney grille with integrated M6 badge and the Adaptive LED headlights with their distinctive cut-off light rings.
Like its predecessor, the new BMW M6 Coupé has a roof made of carbon-fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP), which is unique in this segment. The light weighted material reduces weight while lowering the car’s centre of gravity, thus further increasing its agility.
