Pringle of Scotland FW2012/13 Women collection is inspired by the Alistair Carr's return to England after some years spent abroad and the memories of youth it invoked.A chic collection in luxurious knits and feminine colours with an undercurrent of defiance in the detailing. The brand;s heritage of the twinset is apparent in a diametric rib story and conceptualised through the matching of full looks which build themes throughout the collection.
 
White cashmere paring a made in Scotland roll neck with cashmere slim leg trouser, to Memphis inspired Jacquard knits with a Tromple L'oeil cardigan effect. A grainy leather bomber jacket in red orange followed by a more refined longer length interpretation in bottle green/ Leather short jackets and trousers in tan and red orange are softened though styling with Pringle's signature light weight luxury knits.
  
  
  
The Men collection present a soft luxurious fabrics realised in structured shapes mixed with thougher elements to achieve a look that is polished but worn with assured ease. British fundamental is the starting point of the collection but it is not restricted by one specific theme by inspired by a real man's wardrobe and the pieces he wants to wear invoking a confident masculinity.
 
 
Substantial knots in bottle green revealing bright blue and burgundy paired with burnt orange are styled with chintzed flannel trousers. A chunky fisherman's rib knit is worked in contrasting colours to show the knit in textured relief by presentation a soft luxurious fabrics realised in structured shapes, mixed with thougher elements to achieve a look that is polished but worn with assured ease.
