Salvatore Ferragamo @ Personalized Italian Craftsmanship

Salvatore Ferragamo held a 13-day exhibition at ELEMENTS mall to celebrate the launch of the “Salvatore Ferragamo – Italian Craftsmanship” exhibition showcasing an array of Made-To-Order (MTO) creations in Hong Kong recently. The “Salvatore Ferragamo – Italian Craftsmanship” exhibition brings visitors on a journey to experience the exquisite Italian art of shoe-making and handbag creation through four different zones showcasing the RED CARPET Collection, Exotics Service for ladies, Tramezza Collection for men and the Travel Collection.
The exhibition showcased  the globally-reputed art of Italian Craftsmanship as expert shoe technicians from Salvatore Ferragamo were flown in from Italy to demonstrate the exceptional shoe-making techniques which are the origin of good design and comfort in the brand’s prestigious leatherwear. In addition to the live demonstrations, three TV panels showcasing behind-the-scenes video highlighted the different techniques used to craft the MTO creations.

The Handbag Made-To-Order is a customization program enabling guests to design their very own, unique artisan-made design with quality standards of the Florentine maison, whilst the Red Carpet MTO allows Ferragamo’s customers to dream of a bag or a pair of shoes made exactly to their taste. Precious and personalized, Salvatore Ferragamo offers a new frontier of customization, with a range of prestigious leathers and colors to create a truly unique handbag or pair of shoes.

Meanwhile, the collection of Tramezza shoes represents the peak of artisan tradition, craftsmanship and leather processing; each individual pair requiring over 260 phases of precise hand workmanship for over three weeks to create. The Travel collection rewrites the rules of luxury travel as the lifestyle of travel is as deeply rooted in the imaginary world of Salvatore Ferragamo as it is an indispensable and fast growing dimension in modern society.
