Salvatore Ferragamo Celebrates Italian Craftsmanship, Culture and Lifestyle
Exclusive Exhibition Featuring the SPECIAL EDITION Tramezza Shoes and Belts for Men

Salvatore Ferragamo kicked off a 6-day exhibition at the ifc mall Atrium and launched the Salvatore Ferragamo Men’s SPECIAL EDITION Tramezza shoes and handcrafted Double Gancini belts collection. Mr. Ferruccio Ferragamo, Chairman of Salvatore Ferragamo S.p.A. and Mr. Salvatore Ferragamo, Managing Director of Il Borro. made an appearance to officiate the event.  
  
  
  
The SPECIAL EDITION Tramezza collection, comprising of four shoe styles, offers the choice of four different hands colored shades. Each pair is handmade and requires over 260 phases of precise hand workmanship and takes over three weeks to create. The SPECIAL EDITION Tramezza collection is marked by the union between innovation and tradition, aesthetic research and modern design, formal luxury and precise details given by the exclusive atelier where only ten pairs of shoes are made daily. Complementing the shoe collection is a selection of SPECIAL EDITION Double Gancini belts. A handsome combination of fine leathers like calf, crocodile and ostrich with four emblematic Double Gancini buckles hand-wrought according to the dictates of the Florentine metal working tradition at its best.  
  
  
  
A limited edition Il Borro 2008 Toscana with a unique label featuring an illustration by Sichuan contemporary artist Yang Mian, who was inspired by one of Mr. Ferruccio Ferragamo’s private artwork collection, “Spanish Singer” by Edouard Manet. As part of a budding generation of contemporary artists, Yang has been showcased globally from London to Vienna and New York, and his work represents a more profound and rational interpretation of visual culture in contemporary society.
