《British Fusion Fashion @ Asturo Tayama FW2011》

A.T by ATSURO TAYAMA held its “A.T by ATSURO TAYAMA FW 2011 Fashion Show” showcasing various sets of looks embodying British style with tartan and a play on different fabrics, presenting the major trends this upcoming season. Paris-based Japanese designer and founder ATSURO TAYAMA combines creativity with modern cutting, creating unique and a playful style. The collection has feminine and natural tones which A.T bases their collections on. It incorporates items that convey the climate of the northern regions of Britain such as duffle coats, ponchos, Aran patterns and cable stitches. Materials, items and components are mixed by combining linen, alpaca and mohair mixed tweeds, patchwork of knit and cut-and-sewn, and cardigans with dresses, and using the toggles from duffle coats on cardigans.

The fashion show was decorated as a circus, creating a fun and playful ambiance. Circus tent background, silhouette of crowns and trapeze, and solid stage of circus created a mood of frolicsome atmosphere; where guests seemingly wonder around a circus.
