Valentino UOMO Boutique Opens @ Elements Mall

To celebrate the recent opening of the Valentino UOMO boutique at Elements, the Maison Valentino held a pop-up exhibition showcasing Camouflage ready-to-wear and accessories collections in Hong Kong for the very first time in the metal zone atrium of Elements.

Valentino Creative Directors Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli have interpreted Camouflage in a range of numerous prints, from the classic army green, iconic red, deep blue to multicolour. Set in vivid colours and bold juxtapositions, Camouflage has constantly evolved season after season.

The pop-up exhibition displayed 9 capsule cube design spaces. Each space will feature a different interpretation of the iconic print, allowing the visitors to explore a kaleidoscopic range of the Valentino Camouflage theme.

The new Valentino Uomo store at Elements is entirely dedicated to the menswear collection conveying a sense of continuity and uniformity throughout the entire store. It was important to develop an idea that made it appear more austere and less stark, precisely because it was less decorative.

Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli collaborated with world renowned British architect David Chipperfield to design the store concept - a place full of contrasts, with beautiful yet austere architecture that can accommodate a wood and brass display system.

The concept for the new store features a strong architectural design with a light and airy display system and décor. A light material chosen for the display system is placed on top of terrazzo stone, as a striking material used for the wall treatments, creating a deliberate contrast between contemporary and classic elements.

A series of exquisitely crafted curved brass elements hook onto the terrazzo wall panels to create a very versatile and flexible display system. In each area, terrazzo stone was used for the walls and palladiana marble for the floors in order to ensure a harmonious continuity.

The new store carries all menswear product categories: Menswear ready-to-wear, accessories and perfume by providing the best environment and shopping experience.
