MIU MIU Re-opened its Hong Kong Flagship Store on Peking Road

MIU MIU pursues its development in Asia with the expansion and transformation of its Hong Kong flagship store on Peking Road. The store carries the complete brand’s collections of ready-to -wear, footwear, handbags and accessories. Renowned for its style and sophisticated elegance, the Miu Miu shop is distributed on three floors, with an overall surface of 1000 square metres. The glass and metal façade evokes a theatrical curtain that reveal the spacious black marble entrance and the light box window displays.
Inside the store Miu Miu’s iconic damask fabrics are softly draped along the walls to frame the floor-to-ceiling mirrors and honeycomb displays of transparent glass and steel. These elements, combined, convey a unique quality of light and artfully direct the viewer’s focus towards the collections on display.
Soft lighting from the ceilings glows through transparent honeycomb structures and its contrast with the black “palladiana” marble elements creates a stunning and sophisticated ambience. The compact and geometric olive-coloured velvet booths complete this intimately- designed space by architect Roberto Baciocchi.
To mark the reopening of its prestigious store on Hong Kong’s famous Peking Road, Miu Miu presents a special selection of apparel, bags and footwear. Jackets with sharp lines, cocktail dresses and high-waisted skirts are made in an exclusive and precious crystal embroidered macramé fabric in colours black, pale blue and ecru.
Made using the brand’s iconic Nappa Crystal, the Stage Bag and the open box handbag glow in new shades of turquoise, cherry and sunshine yellow. Removable shoulder straps and turn-lock closures on these styles are decorated with crystals, which are also presented on the seductive red suede clutch bag, creating an eye-catching pattern.
The classic peep-toe pump is revisited with new details. The brilliant palette is now reworked in satin and appliquéd crystals embellish the heel and toe.
