John Hardy Fall 2013 collection continues to transform traditional elements into modern motifs. The collection takes tribal inspiration from the exotic island of Kalimantan (Borneo), known as “The Island in the Clouds” for its stunning, fantastical nature and wildlife. Each collection has been reimagined to feature the intricate and daring essence of the colorful and faraway island. Swirls of color and bold design reflect Kalimantan’s mix of cultures and the tribes’ strong belief in the mystical powers of nature.

Continuing to be inspired by traditional weaving, the handmade John Hardy Classic Chain collection incorporates the Timeless Knot, a symbol of eternal life, nature and love. The Dot collection based on the Dot motif, found in traditional Balinese culture has been modernized by playing with size and proportion. 

Inspired by the goddess of the sun and moon, the Palu Collection is hand hammered by Balinese artisans. Palu’s gold discs shimmer like rays of light on the ocean. We invite you to experience this season’s offerings as timeless and transformative, a continual reminder of the meaningful link between past and present.

Classic Chain exudes our philosophy of marrying traditional artisanship with a modern, wearable approach revitalized for Fall with bold new figures. The chain’s sinuous shape is invigorated with a new knotted silhouette that symbolizes eternal life, nature and love.

Dot is fresh, modern and ready for fall in an array of versatile styles. The bold silver Dot is the perfect foundation for layering and stacking with the other creations like Dot rings, bracelets and necklaces featuring ultraglamorous diamond pavé or the fluid shape of the Cobra in an exquisite play of silver and gold. Each piece flaunts a modern, high shine finish for bold contrast and an intriguing mix.

This fall’s Naga selections feature the brilliance and power of the dragon motif in daring designs and are paired with the bold braided chain. Hand-cut crystals, micro-pavé diamonds and touches of ruby add to the intrigue of this iconic collection.

John Hardy reimagines the enduring strength and versatility of bamboo in unexpected combinations. Petit pieces in rose gold with diamond pavé bring a glamorous new dimension to the signature collection. The purchase of each piece supports the Wear Bamboo, Plant Bamboo initiative to restore Bali’s natural bamboo forests.

Drawing inspiration from the radiance of the sun and moon, Palu’s strong and pure design is a John Hardy signature. The Palu cuffs bear the intricate carved Chain motif framing hand-hammered silver and eighteen-carat gold shimmering discs. Bedeg is reborn through reinterpretation for fall. This season’s updated designs incorporate a rhythmic pattern of silver beads and faceted colored stones, inspired by the exquisite handiwork found in Borneo. 

Entirely new designs and a highlight of texture elevate the world of John Hardy for men.The creations for this season feature the new Poleng motif, introducing the contrast of oxidized spheres with high shine silver, and a stylization of the figurative Naga in a bold chiseled form. The addition of the intricate braided shape and strong leather complete the masculine message of the season.
