Bally AW2012 Collection @ Archive Shoes Exhibition

BALLY held an exclusive cocktail event at the presidential suite in Landmark Mandarin Hotel to launch its AW12 collection and showcase the selected archive shoes from the Bally Shoes Museum. Distinguished guests enjoyed an exclusive shopping experience with models wearing unique exotic leather pieces, a tailor made display area for the Scribe Made-to-Order collection as well as the a distinctive ice display for the iconic Curling collection. The exhibition of selected archive shoes, that were flown in especially from the BallyShoes Museumin Switzerland, demonstrates the strong Swiss heritage and exquisite craftsmanship of Bally.
Inspired by a young woman’s visit to a Bally store with her diplomat father in the 1970s at the time when Bally first launched ready-to-wear, Bally’s AW2012 women’s collection captures the romance of a high life lived around the world in dazzling locations with exacting standards. This sophisticated lifestyle collection offers a panorama of luxury and elegance. With leather very much to the fore, desirable leather statement coats create razor sharp silhouettes that once removed, reveal an alluring indoor look for the modern style conscious woman.
Bally’s AW2012 men’s collection captures the spirit of a life lived outdoors that is charged with exhilarating journeys and inspiring pursuits. In a collection dominated by technical detail, durable finishes and exceptional craftsmanship, it was never more certain that Bally owns winter: for the distinct and water repellant waxed suede and calf leather of the shoe collection: to the waterproof zipper and fold-over technical detail of the outerwear distinguished by cleverly constructed pieces notable for their innovative use of leather and technical fabrics. Each piece of Bally’s AW2012 men’s collection has been designed with exacting purpose and precisely constructed in the Swiss brand’s fine craftsmanship traditions, reflecting demanding adventures through the weathered Swiss alps whose raw beauty is spectacularly outlined by winter snow.
