This unique material was debuted in the International Exhibition“Now design à vivre” in Paris Maison et Objet in January 2012, and was elected as the “Highlight Material of the Year”. Renowed French Sculptor Jacques Owczarek met hide kasuga, the founder of BLANC BIJOU, in Paris. It was the first collaboration which brought the material BLANC BIJOU into the area of art and rare unique works. As the artist stated, BLANC BIJOU represents an “absolute peace created by its whiteness and its unique touch.” BLANC BIJOU redefined a new relationship among sculptures, artworks and their touch. According to Jacques Owczarek, this unique material opens up a brand new view of creation for artists and designers, and offers new experiences to collectors.
