Sunday brunch in Phuket island has become a routine not only for the islanders but also for the local expatriates as well as other hotel guests hopping around to find its best value to indulge themselves for a lazy and perhaps boozy Sunday to end their week. Mosaic restaurant at Crowne Plaza Panwa beach has great offers to chill you out for your best possible Sunday afternoon. mylifestylenews writes.
The all day dining Mosaic restaurant offers a wide selection of authentic Thai and Pan Asian dishes with spacious indoor and breezy alfresco dining areas, not only for its regular daily breakfast, lunch and dinner.
When weekend approaches, their most talked- about bubbly Sunday Brunch will size you up with even more selection, not only the elevated Thai street food ranging from all the mouth watering salads to a a-la-minute live noodles station but also the outdoor barbecue to choose from. Delectable seafood, fiery curries and creative stir-fries are the highlights and even Teriyaki, Sunday roast along with a range of pan-Asian favorites, European fare that will surely keep you going back to the buffet counter again and again.
It was quite a buzz at Mosaic restaurant even before the buffet opened. It was not even 12 noon, diners from around Phuket with reservations were already anticipating to flock in. The kitchen team and the service staff were giving the final touch of the table setting as well as filling up the enormous island buffet with salivating dishes. Despite the clock was ticking fast, the team were still in high spirit and determined to put on the “best show” for their diners that were waiting patiently at the door.

We were seated fast according to our reservation made. Processo or French champagne to follow according to your preference and why not., as it makes the perfect company for the appetizing Thai salad such as Som Tam Moo Yang - the classic green papaya salad with lime fresh, chili smoked shrimps, peanut and grilled pork.
For what Mosiac restaurant Sunday bubbly brunch selection offers, on food wise, we suggest you step outside of your comfort zone and be a little more adventurous and at least sample Tom Yam Taley Nam Khon - a spicy soup with prawns, squids, mussels, shallot, galangal, lime juice, lemongrass and milk, the right amount of sour to make your mouth pucker in the shape of “bravo” for their very own version of Tom Yam.

Another Mosaic signature dish is the Thai Curry Gaeng Massaman Neau – a famous Massaman curry with tender beef shank. This succulent dish came recommended, and we weren’t disappointed.
Thai Noodle Soups is another must-have from the live cooking station. Various kind of flat and thin rice and egg noodles are offered with their very own recipe of chicken/pork clear broth, accompanied by a good selection of condiments and “toppings” from fresh spring onion, aromatic deep fried garlic and Thai chili flakes to different kind of meat balls to suit your taste and to satisfy your choice.
