Growing up in Brazil and now sharing time between New York, Paris and São Paulo. Currently, Yael creates in her studio/showroom in São Paulo, Brazil. In April 2007, ten years after her professional debut, she opened the first Yael Sonia art jewelry boutique at 922 Madison Avenue in New York City. In 2002, Yael won the Tahitian Pearl Trophy Award for her “Spinning Wheel” necklace from the Perpetual Motion Collection. Yael Sonia’s art jewelry has been featured in world-renowned shows and galleries in Brazil, Germany, France, Spain, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States.
