《PRADA Opens @ Taipei 101》

PRADA opened its largest store in Taipei 101 Financial Center Shopping Mall. The store, designed by architect Roberto Baciocchi, occupies about 1,000 square metres on two levels, and it offers the men's and women's ready-to-wear, footwear, bags and accessories collections. Its storefront blends harmoniously with the atrium's double-height elegant architecture; the entrances, windows and light boxes are framed in Marquina back marble and polished steel finishes.
The store features a succession of different environments. The lower floor displays women's leather goods, and a wide area dedicated to men's collections. An impressive staircase in Marquina black marble with walls covered in green fabric panels framed in polished steel connects the store's two levels. The upper floor offers all the women's collections. The ready-to-wear area has a very special setup, with walls made of green curtain walls and mirrors.
The display niches inset in the walls, embellished by polished steel profiles and covered in pale green painted fabric, stand out against the marble black and white chequered floor, a legacy from Prada's iconic brand image. This sophisticated atmosphere is enhanced by polished steel display counters and soft curved seats covered in castorino-coloured velvet. Ebony wood furniture and brightly coloured saffiano leather displays characterise the men's
area.
