When a beachfront oasis luxury resort also offers you a city skyline view that evokes a modern Arabian Style, Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach is certainly catching the light and has become a popular staycation choice and a traveler’s playground that empowers you to follow your passions. mylifestylenews writes.

Some hotels and resorts are designed to impress and even extend for the pursuit of excellence offering the best of everything to impress and indulge their visitors and guests alike. First the hardware comes into the prior consideration by offering the top-notch quality level of hospitality and diverse experiences, from the design perspective to the world class facilities provided to pamper followed by impeccable service with every detail being looked after and immersed into the crafted hospitality. Eventually, the stay will have ensured unforgettable lifetime experiences and unique memories to bring home when the guests leave the property.

Being one of the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts key properties in the UAE region, the Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach is burgeoning with a fresh approach by creating luxury with a chic, stylish attitude and Middle Eastern design of enduring value and continues to gratify their guests with satisfaction in what they do by offering the exceptional quality of service yet a Bohemian spirit in mind.

The elegant arched corridors.

Set within Dubai’s prestigious coastal residential area of Jumeirah at the northern end of Jumeirah Beach Road and minutes away from La Mer - the new beach front dining and entertainment precinct, Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach is just 25 minutes drives from Dubai International Airport and stretches along the beautiful natural beach. It is also one of the closest beachfront hotels to the Burj Khalifa and downtown Dubai as well as 10 minutes away from the main commercial district on Sheikh Zayed Road and the Dubai International Financial Centre.

With easy access to major shopping malls, traditional souks and recreation activities on the sea and in the desert, the resort is a hideaway with the waters of the Arabian Gulf on one side and Dubai’s iconic city skyline on the other for a perfect balance of lazy indulgence and lively adventure at the same time.

We left our car to the valet after driving up the gentle slope leading to the entrance of the hotel façade where the traditional meets modern architecture. Before entering the foyer, the stunning arched corridors on both sides of the gigantic cast iron glass doors are worth a stop to admire the elegant Moorish motif design elements and beautifully crafted iron lantern lamps that hang atop the ceilings.

You are immediately taken back to the Middle Eastern Oriental era while standing on a thick comfy beige carpet with the Four Seasons Resort Dubai At Jumierah Beach wordings embroidered on it. The first luxury impression of the Four Seasons welcomes our arrival with an elegant touch. A small waiting lounge decorated with gold mosaic walls gives another contrast to the black and white geometry marble floorings with two curved cushion benches handsomely giving a subtle sophistication to it.

The beach front view immediately captures everyone’s eye while the second cast iron glass door that is opened makes an impressive lookout from the elevated lobby with a spiral stairway leading to the ground level. Another long stretch of the arched corridors painted in white are filled with retail outlets in modern design with the same white geometry marble floorings creating a mini souk concept to rouse your interest, alongside with the cozy and tastefully decorated Shai Salon aka lobby lounge with an outdoor terrace that serves light fare.

The reception lay across from the Shai Salon, our earlier arrival than the regular check-in time was handled promptly despite the robotic check-in procedure that was lacking in warmth and passion that suppose in making us feel truly welcome. While one of the staff is handling our check-in yet there wasn’t any eye contact nor greetings from the rest of the front desk team including the Concierge. For it is a universal value practiced in every country, culture and religion that the Four Season Golden Rule  “To treat others as you wish to be treated yourself” applies, which the front desk staff don’t seem to understand just quite the way they should.  With the genuine passion for hospitality and to connect with the guests on a highly personal level and to forge meaningful relationships that enrich the guests’ experience, especially the first experience where they are the first contact to make upon arrival.

The full marble bathroom design is luxurious with a moving sea wave motif silver mosaic tiled wall, juxtaposing the inviting oval bathtub. There is a long bathroom counter with his and her vanities and offers the exclusive fashionable Rajasthan by Etro toiletries and bath amenities designed by Etro as well as thick terry bathrobes. Simply a classy room to relax in!

Our room was assigned for a deluxe enhancement, the state-of-the art 72sqm Deluxe Partial Seaview room which is among Dubai’s largest accommodations. The lofty ceiling creates a sophisticated residential ambience with modern amenities as well as the high quality down duvets, pillows and heavenly bed. The upscale room features an expansive furnished private balcony fitted with floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding glass doors designed to afford an uninterrupted skyline view of the Burj Khalifa and partly with the Arabian Gulf sea facing.

Serene courtyard with water feature.

We wandered around the 14 acre beachfront site after an immediate unpacking, with the six-storey structure of the resort building configured in a widened U shape, designed with Arabic and Spanish influences.

The outdoor serene gardens are populated by the ubiquitous towering palms and tropical trees around two of the outdoor swimming pools – one is dedicated for adults only. Deluxe day villas, along with stylish and gorgeous cabanas are scatted around the swimming pools on elevated ground for a better lookout to the sea with spacious and relaxing day beds and even a rolling bed table for further comfort and convenience.

Looking back to the resort building.

Water feature by the beach.

Towering palm tree surrounds

We could stay here all day under the shade of the lush green surrounds, simply feeling so good to get chilled and lounging in the sun. The 270 metres beachfront featuring ample lounge chairs and umbrellas is another best hang out for families. Try to swim up to the floating platforms sitting just off the beach edge with more sun lounges catering for a more exotic experience.

The adults only outdoor swimming pool.

The indoor swimming pool is alluring and sophisticated. We started to fall in love the moment we walked into this indoor glass roofed canopy long swimming pool that is reminiscent of a luxury hammam with ceiling high roman pillars contrasting the hue of blue mosaics with white flower motifs in the pool.

The Indoor swimming pool.

The huge and well-equipped fitness centre opens 24-hours for you to work out the extra pounds and stay fit at anytime. Such a world class facility that caters for the luxury experience won’t disappoint.

Dining in the Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach is quite the place to be. Sea Fu is one of the most fashionable beachfront dining destinations, especially on their bubbly weekend brunch that serves up a crafted menu with Mediterranean-style Asian inspired dishes. Just opposite the main resort entrance is a curved building that is home to five independently operated specialty restaurants and a rooftop nightclub should you wish to explore further afield without leaving the resort environs.

The SUQ Restaurant

Breakfast is served at the SUQ for market-style international cuisines with indoor dining and a sea view terrace. The kitchen and service staff are most engaging here, and know how to pamper and ensure everyone is feeling welcome and being the centre of attention.

With Four Seasons being one of the most highly recognized and consistently awarded luxury hotel brands in the world, they have become luxury traveler’s preferred choice, believing in what they do, with the dedicated staff striving to deliver and create the best experiences for their guests every single day.

Inspired by a deeply instilled belief in service excellence, suppose every staff is an ambassador of the Four Seasons’ culture, carrying the values forward and creating the legendary experiences that define the brand, but some of the front desk staff need to have a refreshing personality, rather than an air of superiority, for to be warmly welcomed is truly the Four Seasons way. We had a memorable stay overall.

agnes b AW2018 Femme Winter Garden Fashion Show - mylifestylenews Top 10 Pick - Live From Paris

Blow, blow thou winter wind… But there is no question of its bite being keen. Oh, no. Agnès b. has expressly forbidden it. She has even gone one better: for her 2018-2019 collection, she has found a gentle haven for it, so that it can inspire the necessary little frisson. What better for her silhouettes than to parade before the eyes of the slenderest Parisian women?

With particular attention to the work of Laure-Hélène Vaudier: six light silhouettes for blue flowers with blue collar. This designer, who hails from Saint-Étienne, plays upon first impressions: romantic, yes, but also practical.

If the socks are flowered, if the voile dances, the blouson is there to bring us down to earth and remind us that we can still yomp around. Agnès likes us to be able to move in the things we wear. Isn’t it better to live without making compromises?

And it’s precisely through her determined embrace of street fashion that Agnès reaffirms her love of artists. This winter it will be Seine Zoo Records or nothing; will be Nekfeu or nothing – a collaboration where the rapper’s label and sense of style blend wonderfully with the designs and personality of Agnès b.

It’s a felicitous match, featuring soft materials and lines as striking as the models. Gentleness is the only temperature gauge. And to provide a cocoon, you pull up a hood, or wear a cap. We’re nothing if not adventurous when it comes to keeping our ears warm. And, of course, we sport the snap fastening. Of course we can choose to button it or not. Of course we are adamant about who we want to be. And of course, we are free.

The palette will resemble the sky that skims the Eiffel Tower. It may be grey, ochre, white, pink, blue, deep, or watercolour. But, above all, it will be shimmering. Each design is able to reflect a new light. On some, there is almost a mirror effect, while on others you are caught up in a new sunset. If the coat is monochrome, then you have to watch what you pair with it. Tartan trousers, patterned suits and printed skirts.

Agnès’s passion for photography offers a veritable gallery of long skirts as light as gossamer: here, a window opens onto the world outside, there, we see a snowy garden. They ready to slip on high-heeled ankle-boots to make the snow sing to jump into it with both feet and still remain elegant. It’s the chic of spontaneity.

Agnès’s eye offers a palette of possibilities for the Parisian woman: a snowflake with myriad reflections.

In a superb suit and a shirt with a sharp white collar, as a lady with elbows delicately covered by long gloves, in a tail coat over a lamé skirt, with full shoulders, or bare shoulders, or wearing a skirt with pockets. The silhouette always remains ultra-feminine: the waist is emphasised, an arm is bared, or a scarf is left to float in the wind.

Agnès has presented more than one collection, but in her winter garden the tenderest snowflakes have just come to rest.
