TW Steel Welcomes Second Hong Kong Brand Boutique

TW Steel celebrated the opening of its second stand-alone brand boutique in Hong Kong with the company ‘Big in Oversized Watches’ launching its new store at Grand Century Place and held a cocktail party at the Residence of The Consulate General of The Netherlands in Hong Kong.

TW Steel is a private, family-owned company founded in Amsterdam in 2005 now retailing in over 100 countries and counting worldwide.  The brand is the ‘Official Timing Partner’ of the Sahara Force India Formula One Team, and is an ‘Official Sponsor’ of the Yamaha Factory Racing Team in MotoGP.

“I’m thrilled with the reception we’ve received to the news of our second store at Grand Century Place opening,” enthused Jordy Cobelens, CEO of TW Steel.  “Hong Kong is a key market for any watch brand and we’re certainly no different.  Establishing our footprint here is critical and to follow up the success of our Harbour City brand boutique with our second standalone store demonstrates our commitment and our investment in the retail platform here.

“As a global brand, we’re infinitely proud of our Dutch DNA so we thought it would be fun to celebrate that today in Hong Kong.  I’d like to extend my personal thanks to Mr. Wilfred Mohr for attending our launch at Grand Century Place and allowing us the use of his official residency to welcome our guests this evening.  I’d also like to thank Mr. Steve Leung for his exceptional attention to detail in designing our latest store.  As one of Hong Kong’s leading international architects, it’s simply been a pleasure to have our brands collaborate together. TW Steel is in good shape in Hong Kong, both with our own boutique stores and our existing retail partners. These are exciting times for our brand!”
