InterContinental Dubai Festival City @ Live Your InterContinental Life

Business travelers’ hotel priority preference is always about location as well as executive meeting venues that would make them feel like home away from home. With modern facilities and amenities that would ease their mind while traveling and to deal the business deal in no time - even for leisure or for a short staycation. To be able to experience the value of personal service and remarkable style that lasts, InterContinental Dubai Festival City knows how to please. mylifestylenews writes.

Overlooking the Dubai Creek, InterContinental Dubai Festival City is only a 10 minutes drive from Dubai International airport and 12km away from the landmark Burj Khalifa skyscraper. As the building itself is quite distinctive from a distance, the hotel stands out amidst its Festival City location, and adjacent to the Festival City shopping mall to enhance the stay. This Downtown fringe location is ideal to let you enjoy all that the city has to offer without being in the centre of the madness that is the city of Dubai – a city that never stops.

Our check-in was prompt and courteous at the 26th Floor Club Lounge and being upgraded to the one-bedroom suite on the 19th floor was a bonus, overlooking the uninterrupted view of Dubai Creek as well as the skyline of Dubai. This sleek one-bedroom suite ticks all the boxes in luxury with more space than you could possibly need for two people and provides quality amenities that you look forward to every day.

With an additional toilet for guests, the dining area also separates the modern living room with plush finishing. A proper executive desk by the window with plenty of natural lights brighten up the work space and the spacious bedroom has a walk in closet allows you to unpack with style and ease. You will love the bath tub with floor to ceiling window looking out at the panoramic city view of Dubai while taking a hot bath.

The room is contemporary yet understated style that withstands the constant changes in such a dynamic and developing world class city, where the locals never seem to sleep and have a great passion for life. Since the hotel that embraces many different cultures as much as the city does, so you will always feel at ease.

Afternoon is a must-have while you are in the club floors room with complimentary access to this impressive Club Lounge located on the 26th Floor and again with sensational views. Service is personalized here, including a beautiful afternoon tea trolley presentation brought to your table to chose from some exclusive premium selection of teas. A three tiers afternoon tea set from the savories to sweets simply warm your heart and the freshly baked scones is a definitely must-have.

We like the idea of that each lounge is separated by a different rooms for more privacy as well as your preference of choice to pick your best spot to enjoy the city skyline of Dubai.

Breakfast setting and ready to serve.

We headed down to the recreational swimming pool for a bit of R&R after the afternoon tea and try to burn off some calories by doing a few laps. The 25 metre long outdoor heated pool has a glass bottom that allows you to take in the spectacular city skyline vista while relaxing in a cabana with palm trees and the breeze surrounding you. Despite the Sauna and Steam room being rather small in size, the well equipped gym with personal trainer would let you stay fit while you are still on your routine exercise.

The extended cocktail hours at the Club Lounge is rather rare when comparing to most Intercontinental Hotels that we had stayed at. By knowing the locals preference who prefer to dine out late, such hospitality is rendered for a good reason.

From 6pm to 9pm, you can unwind yourself with the selected beverages including wines & champagne as well as a vast selection of canapés and warm cooked dishes that are prepared by the Chef to stimulate your palate.

As a club Floor guest, you have the choice to have your breakfast at the Club Floor or dine at the all-day-dining Anise restaurant that caters to many tastes from Asia palates through to French delights with some great patisseries to start off your day.

The Arabic kitchen is not to be missed if you were to venture on the local breakfast such as hot bread from the oven to numerous dipping from bean stews to Hummus and etc.

A new level of service which redefines luxury and pushes the boundaries as well as letting you to find a home away from home, here is how your  live the InterContinental life.
