Driven by its relentless pursuit of innovation and passion for art, legendary French shoemaker Repetto has been partnering with different designers to present creative collaborations of strong individuality. This Summer, Repetto joins hands with Mosaert, an iconic fashion brand known for its playful style, to present the new “capsule no.4” collection, delighting discerning customers with total looks that reflect the stylish visions of the two creative forces.
Crafted using the original “Stitch & Return” method widely acclaimed by the ballet and fashion circles, every pair of Repetto shoes involves 50 meticulous processes and requires masterly craftsmanship. On the other hand, Mosaert is a fashion label founded by Belgian musician Stromae and his personal stylist. The star has garnered numerous music awards and often topped the charts in Europe. In 2009, he lent his creativity to the fashion world by founding Mosaert that stands out with a mix of geometric patterns, vibrant palette, sharp silhouettes and a harmonious retro style. The unisex collections reflect Stromae’s androgynous image as a musician. His sense of humour is also embodied by the brand name that is an anagram of his name.
The Repetto x Mosaert capsule collection features unisex and unique flats, tops with geometric prints, cuffed pants and graphic stockings. The English preppy style is juxtaposed with geometric African wax prints to create a playful and vintage wardrobe for all ages and genders. The materials inspired by the Japanese fabrics and handmade tapestry, and the colours reminiscent of Edgar Degas’s palette exemplify Mosaert’s signature bold style.
