Maria Aristidou SS2017 Labyrinth Semi Couture Collection Presentation - LIVE From Paris

Maria Aristidou SS2017 Labyrinth Semi Couture Collection presentation was held in  HÔTEL Normandy Paris recently and the collection was was inspired by the Greek mythology and specifically from Labyrinthos.

It is an elaborate structure designed and built by the legendary artificer Daedalus and his son Icarus for King Minos of Crete at Knossos.

When all roads lead to lab·y·rinth 'lab(ə)ˌrinTH : a complicated irregular network of passages or paths in which it is difficult to find one's way; a maze Maria Aristidou made this work for her latest semi Couture collection.

The purpose was to hold the Minotaur inside the Labyrinth and eventually killed by the Athenian hero Theseus. The maze, the path, or the collections of paths from an entrance to the goal was the key to the creation of this SS2017 Semi Couture collection.

Aristidou created her own lab·y·rinth patterns, metallic yarns and elaborate embroideries fabricated a luxurious playground in her designs for women.

Sleek cuts, unexpected open backs and pleating details are the key signatures of this elegant womenwear collection for day or night for a timeless classic, modern and indeed unique are found in Maria Aristidou SS2017 Labyrinth Semi Couture Collection.
