Steiff, internationally renowned German brand for plush toys, and the creator of the original teddy bear presented its second teddy bear specialty store in Causeway Bay with an opportunity to purchase the exquisite latest 2011 collection and 20 limited editions of Steiff Museum 2012 collection. Steiff's Head Designer Dietmar Simon was present to share his inspiration and vision in designing teddy bears and sew a piece a of Steiff Museum bear by using traditional techniques. Prototype Teddy Girl 1905, originally designed in 1905 then replicated in 1997 is 100% handmade with the height of 50 cm like all other teddy bears are marked with the Steiff signature "Button in Ear" trademark for confidence of genuine Steiff quality. The auction and the costs will benefit Animals Asia Foundation's 'Moon Bear Rescue" project.
