John Hardy, a luxury handmade jewellery brand will be opening its first men’s store worldwide in The Landmark Men shopping Mall. In the bustling cityscape of Hong Kong lies a portal to the verdant serenity of Bali, where luxury jewellery brand John Hardy has etched itself onto the aspiring male sartorialists with the launch of its first ever men’s store at Landmark Men. "Hong Kong is an international hub of style synonymous with great appreciation for luxury and quality designs, and this will be our first retail presence in the place where the John Hardy headquarters are based," said Damien Dernoncourt, CEO of the brand.
Designers and artisans collaborate to create objects of beauty, solely by hand, in an environment with respect for people and the natural world. With its self-sustained compound in Bali and green office in Hong Kong, the brand has stayed true to its values of sustainable business practices. Having recently completed planting a total of 600,000 bamboos in Bali, the Bamboo collection is one of the highlights of the new store with the "Wear Bamboo, Plant Bamboo" program. The variety of collections draws inspiration from nature and keeps alive the traditional Balinese techniques and designs that suggest tasteful additions to the successful man’s wardrobe. The Classic Chain collection keeps alive the tradition of hand woven metal links, lending a masculine slant to the pieces. The Bedeg collection, meanwhile, draws its inspiration from the structural elegance of bamboo architecture and rattan patterns.
The store also features an exclusive selection of women’s designs and a comprehensive collection of home and lifestyle products that are fully handmade using particular natural materials such as palm wood, bamboo, coconut shell, deer skin and buffalo horn. Luxurious materials such as sterling silver, alabaster, agate and crystal are also used to create exquisite items that show off the brand’s style of spectacular craftsmanship.
