Sands Retail Launch The Leasing For Shoppes At Parisian Macau

Sands retail launch the Leasing for shoppes at Parisian Macau has officially commenced. The announcement was made by David Sylvester, Senior Vice President of Retail Development, Sands China Ltd., at the Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong recently. Following the unprecedented success of Shoppes at Four Seasons, Shoppes at Venetian and Shoppes at Cotai Central in Macao and The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, Shoppes at Parisian is set to open late 2015. 
 Shoppes at Parisian will follow the French theme of The Parisian Macao integrated resort, which will see a half-scale replica of the Eiffel Tower becoming a new landmark on the Cotai skyline. The retail mall itself will replicate the world famous shopping boulevards of the French capital, providing Macao shoppers with the ambience and class of Avenue des Champs-Elysees, Rue du Faubourg and Avenue Montaigne. The classic French architecture of the shops combined with a street café atmosphere and beautiful attention to detail will bring the unique shopping experience of the City of Lights to the heart of Cotai.
To complement the unique design themes of each of Cotai Strip Resorts Macao’s three other interconnected Shoppes, Shoppes at Parisian will play on the spirit of Paris as the innovative fashion capital of the world, and the luxury brand mix will reflect a new direction. Drawing inspiration from Paris Fashion Week, where many emerging, innovative and directional ready-to-wear and accessory labels launch themselves globally, Shoppes at Parisian intends to become home to the new and creative forces in luxury brand retail. For some this will be their first foray in Macao, if not Asia, along with incubator brands. These new brands to Asia will sit alongside some of the biggest powerhouse brands, expected to complement the overall retail mix through a more avant-garde approach to merchandising.
“Our Chinese customers clearly have a love affair with Paris and now we are bringing that shopping experience a little closer to home. We also truly believe providing a new and exciting retail mix focused more around directional luxury brands will cater to the ever increasing new generation clientele in the region. In addition we see Shoppes at Parisian being a real attraction for shoppers from Asia, who will be interested in these new and innovative brands and powerhouse brand mixes, combined with our unique environment.” said Sylvester.
Another new dimension of the retail mall will be the departure from the normal luxury brand shop fronts. The mall’s retail boulevards come complete with authentically recreated Parisian shop fronts in a number of different themes depending on individual location. “We are looking forward to working with a range of luxury brand partners to enhance the retail architecture of Shoppes at Parisian,” said Timothy Jones, Vice President of Retail Development. “We will create an experience which will complement our existing portfolio of Shoppes at Four Seasons, Shoppes at Venetian and Shoppes at Cotai Central.”
