From now on, you may have to remember her name, Lana Del Rey. This modern American icon has a very expressive and individual vocal, her one of a kind voice are rather rebellious and uncompromising, it changes to suit the mood the lyrics on every track. Each track established many different mood with the beats and rhythm, the music arrangement are interestingly with some pleasant classical instrumentation intro but not reflecting the originality of the music composition.
The music style are with a hint of the 80's electric but with the new wave with a new age effect that against the usual pops. <Born To Die> is simply gorgeous (check out the fashionable yet seductive MTV below) with almost flawless arrangement in its composition being the main track that aiming for the top of the list on the chart. <Diet Mountain Dew> is rather fun with the lyrics and the way Del Rey carried out with the performance. Check Out <Dark Paradise> with the distinctive chorus ( a double line chorus) that are more of an effective symphonic projection on the vocal effect. Listen closely to <Radio> and <Carmen>, they are rather compelling.
The entire music production are quite impeccable, the more you listen to it, the more you will discover the imposing production. Quite an intelligent approach by creating such individual with a full on characteristic production. In the next awards presentation to come, you won't find this name strange anymore.
