Maurice Lacroix @ La Classiques Tradition Collection

Timeless design and first-class handiwork characterize the quality of the Swiss watchmaker’s art: this is proven by the four new timepieces in the Les Classiques Tradition collection, a sub-collection of the Les Classiques models that have already been established for many years. Their sober, compelling appearance manifests respect for the centuries-old tradition of craftsmanship. Their restrained elegance, highlighted in particular by the slim case and simple beauty of the dial, emphasizes the quality that these models signify for their wearers. Four different models are available, a 38 mm men’s watch and a smaller 28 mm ladies’ version. Surrounded by the slim case in fine 18-carat pink gold, the delicate hours, minutes and seconds hands concentrate on the essential: the time. The only additional feature is the understated date display at 6 o’clock. Nothing hinders the gaze as it wanders over the graceful-looking dial in silver or black with circular sunburst finish and indexes plated with pink gold, or the variants in mirror-finish black or white lacquer with gold or black printed Roman numerals. The decoration, in the highest traditions of craftsmanship – the oscillating weight with its Côtes de Genève, the bridges with snailing and circular-graining and the rhodium-plating on the rotor – are a delight to the eye. Les Classiques Tradition, with these new models, is a collection that symbolizes the refined harmony of Swiss quality and style.
