Thai massage has ancient roots dating back at least 2,500 years and is said to have originally been inspired by the yogic techniques of the Buddha’s own personal physician, Shivago Komarpaj, in India. As Buddhism spread to Southeast Asia, the monks and practitioners of Ayurvedic healing arts brought these practices with them. Within times, they were influenced and combined with traditional Chinese medicine as well as local therapeutic techniques, eventually becoming the energizing and restoring system of healing arts known as “Thai massage”.
Time flies especially when you are in a good pair of comforting hands soothing your body and hitting the right spots with utmost care and pleasure. We were quite reluctant to leave the treatment room as to waking up tardily where stress drifted away with this signature treatments and left our skin moisturized and silky soft. A range of other relaxing treatments is also available taking you all the way on the path to re-energize, reshape, de-stress, or re-balance in a supreme luxury of your body and mind. We finished off the session with a small pot of ginger tea and some light local Thai snacks and a feel-good warm towel to bring us back out into the world with a new state of well-being.
