To be honest, we expect to use up at least a pack of tissue but unfortunately we had used NONE. Thanks to the 'tearful' trailer and this film was another repetition of what others had done and Lau did it in such a way that it really too draggy and seemingly not able to win many sympathies. We have no doubt of Liu Ye's acting and he is always outshine from his character played but once again not really seen much on this film either. Partnering with Shu Qi also didn't give much of the chemistry, not to say her acting was really that pretentious and showing the audience the 'same face" with same emotion she used to have. Lau may win the mass China market's hearts with this but sorry to say this is not the film for us.
