《Grossi Trattoria @ Bangkok》

Grossi opened its door outside of Melbourne and surprisingly chosen at the land of smile in Bangkok, Thailand. In fact, who would have thought of it as many patrons come to Thailand for their delicious and inviting Thai Food. Nevertheless, Grossi's decision must be right as the food and menu are in Trattoria style, simple home cook styled food, unpretentious and tasty.
We started of with two different pasta, Tortelloni D'Anatra (Duck & mushroom tortelloni, intenses duck jus, caramelised pears) and Fettucini Alla carbonara, it is no word can explain, simply to die for. As for entree, we indulged ourselves with their signature dishes; La Fiorentina: the 150 days grain-fed Angus T-bone steak and the Abbacchio Alla Romana (Slow roasted Victorian suckling lamb with rosemary, olive oil, Parmesan cheese and comes with ratatouille).  Simply deliciousio!!!

Nothing will go wrong with a nice bottle of Argiano 2004 to go with the meat, it is a pleasant paring wine. We love the friendly and unpretentious ambience with high ceiling decor. Chef Francesco took the liberty to order us a very surprising home made cream brulee, it was divine. The overall experience was unforgettable, we ensure to come back to try out other's favorites that we have marked on the menu. Well done Grossi! Arrivederci!!!
