TOD'S AW2015/16 Women's Ad Campaign

TOD'S AW2015/16 Women’s advertising campaign shows the new collection for women by Tod’s, which is sartorial and sporty, Made in Italy luxury expressed through a contemporary melange of graphics and threaded leather. The dominant themes revolve around cosmopolitan skiing, sophisticated sporting style, and rebellious biker details in geometric metal that light up the accessories. In the shoes and bags, technology is used to move beyond the heritage echoes of saddlery.

Protagonists in the Tod’s total look are the accessories: both the bags - the iconic Cape together with the new Wave and the shoes – the Gommino, even in a new bootie version, the Loafer and the high heel ankle boot. Starring the top model Grace Hartzel, the advertising campaign was shot in a private home in Milan, where all the elements reflect the aesthetic of Alessandra Facchinetti, Tod’s Women’s Creative Director.

“I’m very excited about the new Tod’s ADV, fall winter 2016.  It perfectly reflects the evolution of the brand towards the new fresh and crossing urban style. The young attitude of the contemporary woman who lives in the images. Surrounded by a perfect modernist private room, according to the sophistication of Italian Style, “said Alessandra Facchinetti.

Throughout the entire collection for women, Tod’s explores an interplay between the artisanal world of saddlery that speaks directly of its DNA, and the innovation of contemporary design. The result is both wearable and memorable, combining style and function in a way that is always sophisticated and feminine. And very, very Tod’s.

Chloé @ FW2015 Collection

Chloé FW2015 Collection captures the heightened, worldly elegance of the Chloé girl. Inflected with romance and a touch of arcadia, her story celebrates whimsical classicism as a modern day movement. Her nonchalant spirit evokes the essence of the outdoors for a soft yet strong femininity.

Pale, powder tones are warmed by a heritage menswear palette, as lavender, beige rosé, and cornflower blue mingle with deep navy, heather green, rust, ivory and umber. tactile materials are essential; where the opulent touch of check wool, melton, corduroy and compact curl shearling meets the urban polish of sepia python, the sensuality of silk crepe and the delicacy of lingerie lace.

Falling from a peaked shoulder, sculptural guard’s coats and sartorial tailoring define the long-line silhouette; with wide lapels and military details balancing the effortless flou of lace-trimmed silk.

Scooped waistcoats add a boyish element to sensual frogging blouses. they are worn over tweedy shorts or tiered column gowns in floating silk crepe cinched with cotton cord.

The Fall-Winter 2015 Collection is accented by the compact, saddlebag shape of the new Hudson shoulder bag embellished with suede tassels or python patchwork, and the tooled, contoured lines of the Hayley hobo.

Round-toe booties in vegetal leather feature a fuller block heel and giant ribbon lacing up the ankle. Opulent, graphic moments arrive in a dense patchwork of fine wool knitwear and winter garden florals blooming across silk velvet and intricate jacquards.
