《Hamilton @ 1:1 Real Size Airplane Exhibition》

Hamilton kicked-off a ceremony celebrating the grand arrival of the 1:1 real size Hamilton airplane being exhibited at the Excelsior Plaza, Causeway Bay (outside the wtc more) from the 2nd - 22nd June, 2012, manifesting the brand’s unbeatable role in the development of human aviation history.
Hamilton’s aviation heritage dates back to 1919. Since then, the brand has played a significant role in the aviation industry. To pay tribute to this glorious heritage, the brand has joined hands with Swiss aircraft manufacturer MSW Aviation in presenting the Hamilton-branded, orange and black VOTEC 221 mock-up airplane on a series of world tours. Built on a 1:1 basis using components qualified for real aircrafts, it has a wingspan of 20.7 feet, a length of over 19.5 feet, a height of around 5.25 feet and a weight of about 1,000 pounds.
A catwalk show was staged in which models dressed in pilot uniform demonstrated a series of Hamilton pilot watches integrating aviation functions. Among these highlighted timepieces were the Khaki X-Mach, the Khaki X-Wind Automatic, the Khaki Pilot 46 mm and the Khaki Flight Timer jointly developed by Hamilton and Air Zermatt. The highlight was the newly launched Hamilton Khaki X-Patrol, featuring a unique mechanical conversion facility to give accurate equivalents of a selection of units in either metric or imperial systems. The specially-designed catwalk show thoroughly narrated Hamilton’s significant role in the development of human aviation history since 1919.
