Marc by Marc Jacobs Flagship Store Opens @ Pacific Place

Marc by Marc Jacobs Flagship store opened its flagship store at Pacific Place last week. The 270-square-meter store was transformed into a colorful fashion carnival with a number of exciting celebratory games with fun- filled carnival atmosphere.
The newest Marc by Marc Jacobs Store designed by Jaklitsch/Gardner Architects. The New York City-based firm has developed the retail identities for all Marc Jacobs stores worldwide. The front of the Flagship store features circuslike red and white curtains creating a fantastic and enticing entrance into a carnival wonderland.

Every carnival needs a magical carousel and inside, a fabulous pink horse sits in the corner of the store, capturing the moment of this inspiring pop-up wonderland with a stylishly cute, popcorn instant camera booth. A "MJ" game installation attracted most of the guests’ attention, it was the classic irritating stick game which tests one's hand-eye coordination. Players had to guide the metal rod along the “MJ” path from one end to the other without touching the sides. In addition, there was the all-time favorite claw machine filled with Marc by Marc Jacobs accessories.
Marc by Marc Jacobs FW2012 Collection 2012 and Pre-Fall Accessories Collection was revealed with a sense of revolutionary girl power for the season. Rather than bold bursts of colors, this season sees subtle and austere hues such as pale gray, dark blue and graphite green. The collection puts the modern woman into perspective by proposing a new femininity beyond soft sweetness and at the same time it proposes stylish sophistication.
