Versace @ Pacific Place's SS2012 Fashion Trilogy

Entering the last week of “Fashion Trilogy” with the brand Versace, a cocktail reception with Versace SS2012 fashion presentation was held recently. In Versace SS2012, the Versace Siren arrives in the city in the middle of the hot, hot summer, bringing with her a new beat. With ocean as the key theme of this season, seahorses, shells and starfish, patterns stolen from the sea are translated into prints in water blue, citrine, lilac and white. Neoprene, leather and jersey are the main fabrics used and rendered in gold and silver studs. Panels of pleated jersey are held in place with gold studs over neoprene mini dresses, while over the knee pencil skirts are paired with a bra or the new T-shirt made from studded leather. Big, round shoulders with a sporty feeling sculpt the silhouette of the jackets which are worn with short shorts and high plexi wedge heels.
