Pet Adoptathon® began as a small venture in the New York area in the first week of May, 1995 with one mission - ‘Adoption’. During this harmonious adoption effort, over 2,000 shelters from around the globe joined the Animal League in an effort to save as many pets’ lives as possible. The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) has been caring for the welfare of animals in Hong Kong since 1921, and over the course of last year, they helped to re-home over 2,500 animals. For the 9th year, the SPCA will host a Pet Adoptathon® in the month of May to continue their rehoming efforts and promote responsible pet ownership.This weekend, it time for you to show your love and care to the animals.
