 COSTA VICTORIA celebrated her maiden call to Hong Kong recently and deployed the ship in Asia.The first international cruise company to enter the Asian market, Costa Cruises has crafted a bespoke service onboard its largest ship yet to enter the region. Boasting a 40% increase in passenger capacity, Costa Victoria (75,200 gross tonnage and 2,394 total passenger capacity) promises a new, enriched and star-studded entertainment program onboard.
 With this bigger ship now deployed in the Asia market, Costa Cruises will offer 47 sailings including the repositioning cruises, bringing its overall capacity in the region to 112,518 berths in 2012. Themed ‘Italy at Sea’, Costa Victoria will offer 4 to 7 night cruises to several scenic destinations – including Japan and Korea. Costa Victoria continues to set itself apart from its competitors with a lineup of international entertainment acts. Alongside ICE, Ezker, a revolutionary magic show will feature onboard Costa Cruises for the first time. Both shows will be exclusive throughout its sailings.
The cruise ship has been attentively furnished in an Italian, elegant style. Each deck has been named after an Italian opera and this theme of graceful Italian splendor is found in every element of design. The tranquil Spa pool has been inspired by the splendor of Pompeii and the Capricco bar is tiled with Emilio Tadini’s mosaics. Even the natural beauty of the ocean has been fully exploited with panoramic views on either side of the ship and from the 242 veranda cabins.
