JACK WILLS S2012 hits the store today and returne to its preppy roots with a fresh look at the new British cool, revisiting and paying homage to the great British heritage classics. The collection is approaching the new season with a fresh palette and clean sophisticated silhouettes, drawing inspiration from British Maritime heritage – paying special attention to authentic Aran and Fair Isle knit detailing with a range of soft and traditional knitwear in contemporary cuts as well as authentic regatta style clothing .
 The Ladies range features pretty florals, including vintage prints from Liberty’s of London, for an easy dressed-down style of understated femininity throughout their range of dresses and spring skirts. British manufacture is, as always, at the very heart of the collection and Jack Wills is proud to continue their collaboration with a number of iconic British brands from historic cloth mills to traditional British luggage markers.
   
   
  
The key collaborative items that have been redesigned by Jack Wills to give a contemporary fit include the Dunsmoore Blazer (Ladies), the Coubrough Blazer (Gentlemen) and the iconic Barkworth suit, produced with Fox Brothers, proud manufacturers of the finest wools and flannel since 1772. The Fiddington Blazer (Ladies) demonstrates their continued collaboration with Moon, renowned for their expertly crafted wool since 1837. The Sunridge Jodhpurs (Ladies) and the Calver Cords (Gentlemen) have been designed in association with J.C. Cordings of Piccadilly, distinguished as the innovators of traditional British clothing.
Spring also sees the return of the classic Brogues – Wansbrough (Ladies), Glenthorne (Ladies), and Wainscott (Gentlemen), as well as the Thornscroft Boots (Gentlemen) with NPS Shoes Ltd, the British heritage shoemaker since 1881. Jack Wills also continues to demonstrate high quality British manufacturing through their collaborations with British bag manufacturers Quality Gunslips with their Cattan, Steadman and Markham canvas bags.
