With the approach of the 37th César Awards Ceremony, CHAUMET renews its partnership with the Académie des César built around a project unifying the new wave of French cinema, “Revelations 2012” - France's very own prestigious film award. The award is widely recognized and considered to be the French equivalent of the American Academy Awards.
31 young actors and actresses were shortlisted by the academy’s “Revelations” selection committee in preparation for naming the winners of the Most Promising Young Actress and Young Actor titles which will be announced next February 24th. This year, the production of film and the photos was entrusted to Jean-Baptiste Mondino. The film will be screened in more than 400 movie theaters throughout France from 18 until 31 January, 2012. This clip will give audiences the chance to discover the talents of the 31 young talents.
An evening gala was held in the winners’ honor at CHAUMET’s private salon on Place Vendôme in Paris followed by a dinner at the Hôtel Meurice on January 16th. Each award winner was accompanied by a personal sponsor - an established French film star whose presence highlights a firm belief in the talent, potential and the future of French Cinema.
